Many protestants have abused and mis-used scripture to conclude that the pope is setting into motion the new world order and therefore bringing about the reign of the antichrist. According to many confused protestants the papacy is the beast of the Apocalypse and now this perverted protestant view has been given more fuel to add to the fire with Pope Benedict’s call for urgent need for a True World Political Authority.
