Douglas A. Sylva asked “Could Benedict be in favor of world government?” Better to ask could the Blessed Trinity be in favor of world government? The answer is yes, the Blessed Trinity is in favor of world government and so it should follow that the Holy Father would also be in favor of world government. Can this approval of world government by the Blessed Trinity be any more obvious to us than to observe the actions of the Blessed Mother and St. Joseph and their immediate obedience to the edict of Caesar.
And it came to pass, that in those days there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that the whole world should be enrolled. This enrolling was first made by Cyrinus, the governor of Syria. And all went to be enrolled, every one into his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem: because he was of the house and family of David, To be enrolled with Mary his espoused wife, who was with child.
True world political authority is authority created and established by the Blessed Trinity for the benefit of man. There is only one True world political authority and that is the Divinely Ordained Authority of the Holy Roman Emperor. This True world political authority is the same authority that the Holy Family subjected themselves to. The Blessed Mother is a faithful subject to True world political authority. St Joseph is a faithful subject to True world political authority. The second Person of the Blessed Trinity is a faithful subject to True world political authority. Something to reflect on every Advent. Many apparently reflect on other things during advent. So the question is put back to Douglas A. Sylva and others do you favor True world government? If not, please tell me why not, and tell me who is the example that you follow in rejecting True world political authority? The Blessed Trinity and the Blessed Mother and St Joseph approve of True world political authority – the Divinely Ordained Authority of the Holy Roman Emperor.
