Arrested for drunk driving! San Francisco Archbishop-elect Salvatore Cordileone must resign.

Maybe that is why he was arrested because Cordileone is not up to the task and he just does not want the headache of dealing with all those nuts in the diocese.

Question has to be asked now, does he have a girlfriend? Do we have to read about another scandal involving a Archbishop and some woman he has been hiding all these years?

Too many nitwit Catholics immediately shouted for joy when his appointment was announced.

Are not the vast majority of those conservatives sitting in the pews to blame for the current mess we find ourselves in? After all, every last one of those in the pews always look on the bright side of things, and always make excuses for the ill behaviour of the bad priests and never question the bad doctrine taught by the bad priests, those weak-willed pew sitters are in some way nothing but facilitators for the increasingly bad behaviour of the priests.

Everyone turns a blind eye and before you know it everyone is caught off guard.

This is gotten out of hand.

Many will claim that the Archbishop was set up and some how framed because of his staunch stance against gay marriage "the gays set him up".

Many claim it is a conspiracy to rid the San Francisco diocese of this meddlesome priest.

All will make excuses of course, and if the Archbishop does not resign and retire with his girlfriend then I expect him to cave in to all the enemies of the Church.

This man is not prudent. He should leave now.

Am I too harsh? Please read the words of Our Lady and know that we are in a very grave crisis, and men like this Archbishop are not capable of restoring all things in Christ.
