Why Did Pope Francis Change The Maximum Penalty Imprisonment From 24 Years TO 35 YEARS????? Who Does Pope Francis Plan On Locking Up For THIRTY-FIVE YEARS?

The Pope on abolishing the death penalty:

"All Christians and people of good will are thus called today to struggle not only for abolition of the death penalty, whether it be legal or illegal and in all its forms, but also to improve prison conditions, out of respect for the human dignity of persons deprived of their liberty. And this, I connect with life imprisonment," he said. "Life imprisonment is a hidden death penalty." Pope Francis 

The same pope who said to abolish the death penalty and said that a life sentence is inhumane is the same pope that wants to imprison some souls for up to 35 years!

Article 7
(On the maximum penalty imprisonment) In article 13, paragraph 1, of the Criminal Code, the words “from three days to twenty-four years” are replaced by the following: “from three days to thirty-five years.”

If I didn't want anyone using the words of Our Lady of La Salette to warn the faithful of the 35 year period of chastisement that we are currently facing (since 2010) I'd lock him up too!
