Giving the flight crew the benefit of the doubt that the downing of the plane was not a deliberate Muslim terrorist act committing by the Muslim pilot - the next possible scenario is that the plane was hit by falling space debris or junk.

According to some accounts - none of the bodies were wearing life jackets - none had time to put them on:
