Days before the election and everything is quiet. No perceived threat from the Muslim community. No terror threat. It's as if the Muslims are waiting for the right moment. Will it happen next Friday? Or will it happen on election day? Or maybe the day after?

Vice presidential candidate Mike Pence spoke out about a harrowing landing in New York City Thursday evening, that sent his campaign jet skidding off the runway. The Indiana governor was landing at New York's LaGuardia airport, after campaigning in Iowa, when heavy rains caused the 18-year-old Boeing 737-700 to slide off the runway. Luckily, collapsing concrete installed at the end of the runway helped slow the plane down before it could hit the busy Grand Central Parkway. Pence and the 47 other passengers on board were uninjured. In early morning appearances, Gov. Pence called the landing '10 seconds of uncertainty'. After touching down, Gov. Pence said 'we just immediately felt heavy braking on the runway and the plane fishtailed a bit'. 'You could feel us bouncing off,' he said.
