China's top representative to Macau died late on Saturday after falling from the building where he lived, the Chinese government said on Sunday. Zheng Xiaosong, the head of China's liaison office to Macau, had been suffering from depression, the Hong Kong and Macau Office of the Chinese government's State Council said in a statement. The statement did not elaborate further on the circumstances of his death. His body was found with no identification on Saturday night outside Edf. Hung On Torre, a private residential building near the Golden Lotus Square in Macau. No message from Zheng was found during investigations, according to a Macau police spokesman in an update on Monday. Source
