Wife and daughter, nine, pay tribute to TV anchor Chris Burrous at his funeral two weeks after he died in a motel from a suspected overdose

The wife and nine-year-old daughter of a California news anchor who died in a motel last week from a suspected overdose paid tribute to him at his funeral on Friday.   Chris Burrous, 43, died on December 27 after being found unresponsive in the Days Inn in Glendale.    Paramedics were called to the $93-a-night motel by another man who said he was with the father-of-one. The man, who has not been identified, told 911 Burrous had 'possibly overdosed' but it is not known what type of drug he was taking. The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office is yet to publicly disclose its findings into his death.   At his funeral on Friday, Burrous' nine-year-old daughter Isabella was among those who spoke.   'In my heart, he’s still there and alive and I hope he is for all of you, too,' she said.   Burrous' wife Mai Do said she was touched by the turn-out.  Source
