POLICE are responding to a reported shooting at a manufacturing plant where multiple people are feared to have been shot. Law enforcement officials swarmed into Columbia Machine in Smithsburg, Maryland, on Thursday afternoon following reports of an active shooting situation.According to local reports, multiple people are believed to have been injured in the incident. Columbia Machine told The US Sun that they're working with local law enforcement officials on the situation but failed to confirm whether or not shots were fired at the Maryland location. The company offers "complete equipment lines to customers in over 100 countries," according to their website. Multiple calls by The US Sun to the Washington County Sheriff's Office were not immediately returned. Source
