Teen behind Taylor Swift concert terror attack plot pictured holding huge knives 

 The suspect accused of planning a terror attack on a Taylor Swift concert in Vienna has been pictured for the first time, wielding knives. Swift, 34, was set to perform this weekend in Vienna, Austria on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night but the shows have now been cancelled. The 19-year-old is said to have recently joined ISIS and has been pictured for the first time, posing with two large knives. Identified as Beran A, the suspect lived in a small semi-terraced house in Ternitz, Austria, where he was arrested on Wednesday morning.It’s reported he radically changed his look over the last few months, having moved into the area with his parents and younger sister years before. According to the Daily Mail, a neighbour claimed he had begun to grow a long beard and wore long-sleeved cotton shirts after pledging allegiance to ISIS.Outlet Kurier spoke to Mara T. who said he was last seen on Tuesday morning and added: ‘He looked like how you would imagine a sleeper agent for a terrorist cell.’ 

A second suspect, aged 17, was also detained on Wednesday afternoon according to Franz Ruf, the General Director for Public Security. It’s also been reported that friends of the duo were hired in various roles at the venue, including security and stewards, ahead of the concerts. According to Austrian-based outlet Kurier, this finding by the police is what contributed to the cancellation of the concert series. A notice posted on Barracuda Music announced the cancellation of the shows and read: ‘Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Vienna Shows Cancelled Due to Government Officials Confirmation of Planned Terrorist Attack. ‘With confirmation from government officials of a planned terrorist attack at Ernst Happel Stadium, we have no choice but to cancel the three scheduled shows for everyone’s safety. ‘All tickets will be automatically refunded within the next 10 business days.’ Authorities then announced that a terrorist attack targeting the Eras Tour event had been foiled with the arrest of two suspects. ‘According to the current status of the investigation, the two suspects became radicalised via the internet,’ Ruf allegedly said. Kronen Zeitung, an Austrian outlet, reported that the 19-year-old suspect had pledged allegiance to ISIS last month. It was added that Vienna was the target for their planned attack, with the 19-year-old suspect having a particular interest in the Eras Tour concert taking place at Ernst Happel Stadium. ‘The suspected perpetrator was focused on the Taylor Swift concerts. Preparatory actions were detected,’ said Ruf in the conference. ‘A concrete threat has been averted,’ he added. It was reported that chemicals were found during a raid of the home of 19-year-old’s home, which he lived in with his parents and another man. It has yet to be determined by authorities if these chemicals could be used to build a bomb. The shows in Vienna were each expected to draw 65,000 concertgoers with fans also gathering outside of the stadium to hear the music.  Source
