If John Paul II & John XXIII can become saints - anyone can! Will the Chestertonian nuts get their wish? Sure, just pay enough money to the right man in the Vatican and anything is possible.(probably has already been done)

 

Please by all means dig up GK Chesterton's remains first to see if his body is still incorrupt or if the worms had time enough to finish their meal? Buried in 1936, seventy seven years is time enough for the worms to do the job. As is said:

For when a man shall die, he shall inherit serpents, and beasts, and worms. 

Granted the man weighed over 1/2 ton when he died maybe more - was Chesterton a glutton? Probably as much as he was a Jew hatin' anti-Semite. So it's best to dig up the saint's remains soon to see what's there:

I think it is only reasonable to unearth the remains and dig up a few bones to see just what kind of man he really was - saint material?

 

Now one thing I do know is that the majority of GK Chesterton nuts are infatuated with the political/economic system called distributism - what exactly is distributism? No one knows for sure, but the followers can tell you what it is not, which is really no help.

 

What it comes down to - is that in order for Christian civilization to revive itself all men must farm. ALL MEN! Call it the reverse Stalinization of Kulaks - instead of making everyone leave their farms under pain of death - under distributism everyone must be made to farm - under pain of death.

 

Stalinization and distributism are the same thing - just different name and faces. It all ends in death.

 

And just a simple observation - if GK Chesterton one of the main creators of distributism was so insightful and clear headed on all things temporal - how is it that his worshipers are nothing of the kind?

 

Should Jew hating GK Chesterton be made a saint? Who really cares anymore? It's all gone to hell and a newly canonized saint really doesn't mean that much anymore.

 

Maybe GK Chesterton can be the patron saint for Subway Sandwiches: 

 

 

I don't like Chesterton because I don't like his fruit - all the lying distributists out there - look if you want to farm go right ahead and leave everyone else alone - you have no right to turn your pig slopping hobby into a political movement. And that's the reason for the canonization of the fat GK Chesterton - to give legitimacy to a nationalistic political movement.
