Beneath the two arms of the Cross there were two Angels each with a crystal aspersorium in his hand, in which they gathered up the blood of the Martyrs and with it sprinkled the souls that were making their way to God.

Muslims hate the Pope, and want to kill the Pope. GNU Atheists hate the Pope, and want to kill the Pope. Over the last few years several Muslims have been arrested for planning to kill the Pope, or for threatening the life of the Pope. But GNU Atheists remain free to engage in hate filled threats against the person of the Pope, maybe it is because GNU Atheism is so "new" and unorganized, that the authorities do not believe that GNU Atheists pose any real threat to the Pope. One might say that the GNU Atheist movement has been given free reign to make all manner of threats against the person of the Pope on the Internet. Maybe that's it? the Muslims are a backward people and are more likely to organize and carry out threats the old fashion way - secret meetings, phone calls, pamphlets, etc. whereas the GNU Atheist movement is dependent on the Internet to get its message out, making most GNU Atheists physically isolated: picture your average GNU Atheist sitting at the computer for hours on end, eating potato chips, munching on cookies, viewing pornography, unable to move much, due to several layers of fat, the folds of fat seen on the frame of your average GNU Atheist is hindering their physical activity, making it practically impossible for your average GNU Atheist to carry out such an attack against the person of the Pope. So I can see why the authorities consider these GNU Atheist fat slobs as no real threat against the Pope. What can a bunch of fat slobs really do?


ROME (AP) - Italian police on Friday arrested six Moroccan men suspected of inciting hatred against Pope Benedict XVI for converting a Muslim journalist in Italy to Catholicism.

Stefano Fonsi, head of Brescia police's anti-terrorism squad in northern Italy, said the suspects allegedly banded together and met privately with the goal of stirring up religious hatred against non-Muslims, including the pope.

Investigators say they found literature exhorting Muslim immigrants against integrating into Italian society and saying the pope should be punished for having baptized the journalist during an Easter vigil ceremony in St. Peter's Basilica. more
