Dante Alighieri's Ciacco Prophecy & Our Lady Of Fatima Found Within Apocalypse Chapters 7-13

Unknown German Master
Woman of the Apocalypse

Dante has many visions in his comedy of the re-establishment of the Holy Roman Empire for our times. Both the Blessed Mother in Her messages at La Salette and Fatima combined with Dante's vision are "concerned with the socio-political welfare of the human world" Donna Mancusi-Ungaro Dante and the Empire. So here is my take on Dante's canto VI Inferno as it is related to the Apocalypse chapters 11-13, and as Sr Lucy said regarding the Messages of Fatima: "It is in the Gospel and the Apocalypse, read them!” Later, Lucy specified Apocalypse chapters 7-13 so here is my attempt to combine both: Inferno canto VI:

You citizens were wont to call me Ciacco;....
But tell me, if thou knowest, to what shall come
The citizens of the divided city;
If any there be just; and the occasion
Tell me why so much discord has assailed it."
And he to me: "They, after long contention,
Will come to bloodshed; and the rustic party
Will drive the other out with much offence.
Then afterwards behoves it this one fall
Within three suns, and rise again the other
By force of him who now is on the coast.
High will it hold its forehead a long while,
Keeping the other under heavy burdens,
Howe'er it weeps thereat and is indignant.
The just are two, and are not understood there;
Envy and Arrogance and Avarice
Are the three sparks that have all hearts enkindled."
Here ended he his tearful utterance;

If this Ciacco prophecy is yet to be fulfilled I would like to read into it that this prophecy of Dante is very similar to St John’s prophecy found in chapters 11-13 of his Apocalypse. I would like to read into chapter 12 that St John tells us of a time when Wisdom represented by the Woman clothed with the sun will give birth to the man child representing a future Holy Roman Emperor or the DXV and greyhound foretold by Dante in his cantos xxxiii and i. This birth of the Holy Roman Emperor by Lady Wisdom, is a travailing birth, meaning of course that most Roman Catholics along with the rest of society will hinder or reject any such appearance of a Holy Roman Emperor. Either way a great conflict will erupt between the Holy Roman Emperor and all modern democratic governments and institutions. After this conflict there will be a period of victory for the Holy Roman Emperor and the rustic party (crucifixus) and the period of world peace foretold by Our Lady. This period is foretold in this part of Ciacco’s prophecy and Apoc. 12:5:

They, after long contention,
Will come to bloodshed; and the rustic party
Will drive the other out with much offence.
(Apoc.12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with an iron rod: and her son was taken up to God, and to his throne. )

The following tells of the triumph of satan over the "rustic party" or party of the wood – the crucifixus. This is before the advent of the anti-christ. St Paul said that in order for the manifestation of the anti-christ to take place, a revolt against the Holy Roman Empire must first take place. Satan is represnted by Dante as the one on the coast and St John writes that he stood upon the sand of the sea.

Within three suns, and rise again the other
By force of him who now is on the coast.
(And he stood upon the sand of the sea. Apoc 12:18 And the dragon was angry against the woman: and went to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Apoc 12:17)

This third part Dante and St John tells us about the reign of the anti-christ.

High will it hold its forehead a long while,
Keeping the other under heavy burdens,
(and power was given to him to do two and forty months. …..And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them. And power was given him over every tribe, and people, and tongue, and nation. Apoc 13:5-7)

The fourth part Dante and St John tells us about the two witnesses: Henoch and Elias.

The just are two, and are not understood there;
(And I will give unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy thousand two hundred sixty days, clothed in sackcloth… these two prophets tormented them that dwelt upon the earth. Apoc. 11:3,10)

The fifth part Dante and St John describes the reasons for this hared of God’s witnesses:

Envy and Arrogance and Avarice
Are the three sparks that have all hearts enkindled.
(And they of the tribes, and peoples, and tongues, and nations, shall see their bodies for three days and a half: and they shall not suffer their bodies to be laid in sepulchres. 10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry: and shall send gifts one to another Apoc. 11:9-10)

So just some thoughts on Ciacco’s prophecy of Dante. Take it or leave it. I go by this guide for what’s to come. Dante helps. His Divine Comedy should be a guide for any Catholic man for our time.
