Samsung's 'space selfie' satellite crashes back to Earth, landing in Michigan family's backyard, just days after it was launched at star-studded event where Cara Delevingne sent her photo into the stratosphere

 Samsung's 'space selfie' pseudo satellite that was sent to the outer reaches of the stratosphere so that users could have their selfies be shown in space crash landed in the backyard of a Michigan family on Saturday.  Nancy Welke posted video of the contraption which had the words 'SPACE SELFIE' written on it.  There was also a piece of white debris that had the 'SAMSUNG' logo emblazoned on it as well as two solar panels. The device appears to be the same one attached to a high-altitude balloon that Samsung launched toward the edge of space from South Dakota.  Welke, a resident of Merrill, Michigan, said she heard a loud noise just before 8:45am on Saturday, when she and her husband were about to let the horses out of their barn.  Source
